Instacart to add ChatGPT bot to its app

The company’s “Ask Instacart” feature will launch later this year, allowing customers to ask about groceries and meals and get shoppable answers.

Instacart is adding OpenAI’s ChatGPT chatbot technology to its app, joining many other companies in plugging in the AI language tool to offer automated customer service and marketing solutions.
